Kick Ass Cheese at Banana King

Kick-Ass cheese was first introduced at the Lancaster Food and Drink Festival in 2013. Sales and production have rapidly grown ever since. Kick-Ass cheese is created by the husband and wife team of Tim and Sue Procter. The Procter family have been making cheese in Lancashire for more than 80 years. The Kick-Ass brand is a part of Procter’s Cheeses Limited, a cheese factor based in picturesque Chipping, Lancashire.

The name of Kick Ass cheese came about when Tim and Sue were selling cheese at a West Lancashire farmers market. A regular customer, who loved their mature cheddar, asked for some of “that Kick-Ass cheese”! And so, the name was born.
