When is Easter 2021?
Easter 2021 falls just over a week earlier than it did last year date – but when is Easter 2021 and how can Banana King help you celebrate?
When is Easter 2021?
In 2021, Easter Sunday is on Sunday, April 4, which is more than a week earlier than last year. Easter can actually be at any time between March 22 and April 25 because it is determined by the Jewish calendar. That calendar is based on lunar cycles, and Easter falls the Sunday following the nearest full moon to Passover. This year, it is even more complicated because Easter Sunday is even later than you would expect.
What is Easter?
Easter is the most important Christian feast day. It has been observed from the earliest days of the Church, and it commemorates Christ’s resurrection after the crucifixion. It marks the end of Lent and the beginning of the Easter season in the liturgical year.
